The following entry is disjointed.
It's pretty hard to work at a place like Wal-Mart and not begin losing faith in humanity. The amount of stupidity I face on a daily basis is absolutely staggering and I think it's really starting to take a toll on my psyche. Progress Report.
I am attempting to draw a little something every day, but I am not always pleased with the results (read: I am never pleased with the results). I keep reaching into my vast archives of silly MS Paint drawings and redrawing them with the tablet and it makes me realize that I'm really lacking in art fundamentals. Frustration.
Just when I want to sit down and finish Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, I realize my Wii isn't working. It has refused to power on since the big storm we had a few weeks ago. I've been meaning to pick up a new power cord for it (who knows, maybe that's all it needs) but Gamestop has been sold out for quite awhile now. It seems several others have had ( Read more... ) -
My tablet has arrived.
I must say I'm very pleased with my new tablet. After spending a relatively short time with it, I feel as comfortable drawing on the tablet as I would on paper, which is to say not quite as comfortable as I would like to be. I am very much out of practice as far as drawing goes, but I do feel like I have more of an incentive to practice from now on ( Read more... ) -
Things.
My bedroom and bathroom are as clean as I am able to get them. It is kind of nice not living in filth. I believe I may continue not living in filth! Perhaps I should also clean out my vehicle as it's starting to get fairly ridiculous again ( Read more... ) -
