That's no way to go Franco Un-American.

Actually, this was a really cool entry. (You have mad skillz at ranting.) Whenever someone asks me why I always joke about hating Americans I'll just link this rant and say "Because not enough of them think like this."

Or somesuch. Yeah. I don't know. I'm basically just trying to get into your pants.

I'm sick of liberals feeling like they have to try to pass themselves off as moderates.

I think moderate is a good thing. I wish we actually HAD moderates instead of people on both sides pretending.

I'm sick of the country being polarized. I'm sick of feeling like I have to pick one side over the other. I'm sick of people demonizing the people on the "other side" without taking a moment to understand where they're coming from.

I'm sick of people on both sides acting like they're the only victims. Dude, stop picking sides and just hate everyone! :D

Then again, I'm all in favor of having extremists on both sides. If everyone was moderate, then politics would suck because they'd go nowhere. (Of course, then you get into the issue of having politics extremely polarized, where there is no middle ground...which is a bad thing.

I still think it's a hypocritical double standard that being far left-leaning is construed as an insult, and being far right is not.

Depends on the crowd, I think. Among a group of a bunch of liberals, anyone with a religious belief near "mainstream" can be labeled a fundie or a neo-con as the most horrible insult evar!!!11one Not saying the people I know do it, but I have seen it.

I'm sick of being told to move to Canada.

Well, I'd move to Canada whether or not they told me to, but then, that's just me XD

I'm the one acting in my country's best interest.

You really are. As an American, a marine, or a marine-in-training. You're trying to do something for your country rather than just sit there and diss and bully people who don't agree with you.

Heh, wish that were true. In reality, I'm more likely to just sit on the couch and shout at the talking heads on Crossfire.
