Hi, I think people around me will already know that I have been trying to lose weight (re: one of my wishes for 2009)! Today is halfway through week 4, and I have shed around 4-5 kgs of weight (hopefully FAT), my clothes are looser (wearing my belt 1 hole 'in'), my tummy flatter, and I definitely feel "lighter" during my runs. So 2008 is officially over (yay!!), a year that I wished was over as soon as it had started.

I've been wanting to meet up with an old friend, Gwen, whom I haven't seen for over a year. Funnily enough we met at church today (this is hugely ironic, since neither of us are regular church-goers), as if God had wanted us to meet, and it had to be TODAY. ( Read more... )

Literally. I mean, Liverpool's a windy city already but today.... storm hits across the UK. 4 people were killed cos of fallen trees etc. The wind in liverpool is constant at 43mph (that's 68 km/h) and the gust (those short bursts of wind) is 62 mph (100km/h ( Read more... )
