We shouldn't call them 'clothes.' We should call them 'costumes.'

Tonight I came back to San Jose from my first year of college. Whow. I feel lost and out of place. I don't know what to do with myself. I fell walking down the stairs (twice), I can't find the light switches, and I keep knocking into stuff. I'm in my old bedroom, but it is now devoid of all my old stuff. In a very congested, allergies kind of way. On my way to school, my right eye was streaming allergy tears but my left eye was fine. Huh. I'm going to take a big nap and then watch Ocean's 11 tonight with the crew.

My hot grad student teacher is burning me a couple cd's. I'm very happy about that.

I had a good weekend, the kind where I feel alive. We went camping on the beach on Friday night, totally spur-of-the-moment and moderately unprepared. The campsite is only half an hour away, but we didn't get there until 10pm. Just because we didn't. Apparantly I can set up a tent by myself faster than three people together. I feel like there is something missing. I have a group of good friends in Hawaii who are awesome, but they are very different from the best friends I had back home. It's so awkward when two of your best friends start dating and then you become the third wheel.

Tonight, Cami and I walked up to the top of the hill in the pouring rain. Warm, tropical July rain.

Then I spent an hour laying in an inner tube in the hot tub. The rain just kept pouring down. I only wore a flower behind my ear.

Probably the most relaxing hour of my life. The rain on my skin. Oh man...

I feel like I've overdosed on adrenaline. My stomach feels rotton. I need to run around. I can hardly think straight.

Have you ever wanted something so badly, and when you finally got it, it scares the hell out of you?
