3 things

I am leaving this as an unlocked entry because I am very curious and I want people to have the option to post anonymously.

Ask me three questions, about absolutely anything, and I have to answer honestly.
orTell me three things you have always wanted to tell me, or just get off your chest about anything in general. A "dirty little secret", if ( Read more... )

Why did you leave Gry/D's?

I left G & D for two reasons...
1. My mom wouldn't pay for my riding after my stepdad died.
2. They were treating Behr TERRIBLY...lots of drugging, etc.

Mouse is...a new name for an old poster and you probably would be surprised by who it is. Just break down the name and you will get it.

Black Gold, the Black Stallion series, anything by Bertalan deNemethy.

1) If you could go back and relive one point in your life (just relive, not change...just to experience it again) what would it be?

2) If you didn't ride, what do you think you'd be doing with your life right now?

3) When you think of The Lex Child, what's the first thing that comes to your mind?

1. I would probably want to relive the YR's speed class at Indio with Denny. Everything just clicked and we were awesome. I was so proud of him...and, as hard as it is for me to admit this, of myself. He was so cool when he was being good. We kicked ass.
2. If I have never started riding, I would probably be a professional ballerina. I was in somewhat serious training for a bit, but right before I went on pointe, the doctors said I had to choose between ballet and riding because it was destroying my ankles. Needless to say...
3. Let's see...my Lexi...the first thing that comes to mind is how unique and amazing you are. You are so cool to be around and never cease to amaze me with your compassion and insight. And silliness.

A ballerina! Hmm, I can imagine you dancing. You have the perfect body type for it.

The compassion and insight is often overriden by the silliness.

Oh, and thanks for talking to me about my horse issues yesterday. It helped a lot.

Hah. I've decided to ask you a *FOURTH* question...because I would have asked you anywhom.

I've been looking at Warmbloods for sale in the area and I was wondering if you knew of any good breeders or any specific horses that are selling (even if it's not a Warmblood, just calm and solid).

Thanks muchly.

What's the story with your dad? I don't think I've ever heard you say anything about him before.

I wish you would post pictures of you riding [recently]. I think you're amazing.

My dad left my mom when I was nine. He left her a three page handwritten note about how he would always respect her as my mother, etc. He had been cheating on her for several years at that point and was doing all sorts of other rather horrible things "on the side". He left his, literal, little black book with all of his girlfriends names in it behind. It was a very, very messy divorce. He did a lot of really awful...awful things and in my mind, I really don't have a father. As corny and cliche' as that sounds. Basically, you name it...he did it.

I also had a stepfather for a short time, whom I despised. He died after only being married to my mother for about six monthes, spending the last of which in a coma. Fun times in the Gorey household, let me tell ya.

And thank you...I need to have someone actually TAKE the photos first! I have a short video clip of me riding a greenbean pony, but it is kind of blurry and dark. Pony is cute, though!

1. why did you leave rolling hills ranch, it's quite a nice looking place.
2. why did you choose to move to academy?
3. what kind of truck did you buy?

1. We left Rolling Hills because, while it had a lot of potential, it was entirly stagnant. Everything we were promised when we moved in by one of the owners was nixed by the other owner. It was messy, and not what we needed.
2. Eh, well, I looked at several places near AEA, and, suprisingly enough, the footing, feed, and bedding at AEA is the best in the area. Shocking, I know. I didn't want to believe it at first, but the attitude changes in the horses is amazing. It will do. We are slowly but surely fixing the place up, cleaning up the piles of garbage that have collected over the years, and doing the best with what we have. There are more aestetically pleasing places out there, but functionally AEA is the best. And it hurts me to admit that, haha.
3. hehehehe....a 3/4 ton, long bed, automatic, ....
'76 Chevy Cheyenne camper special. She is a beater, but she is fully equipped to haul and has a 4oo engine, so technically she can haul 12k without issue. And I adore her and her craptasticness...AND I own her outright.
