 I rode Miss Emma today. We walked and trotted, and apparently 6 months of no riding can sure make the sitting trot painful. We cantered a few strides but I think something is still bothering her at the canter. It's almost like a nerve gets pinched and she reacts with a buck and kicks out. Next time Dylan comes up from So.  Yesterday was the third time Erin and I attempted to walk under saddle and the FIRST time we did so without someone leading us. Prior to yesterday she would only respond to a squeeze and cluck if the person leading her would also pull.  I took Emma back to Pioneer for her check up. We decided to check her a little early when talk of needing a MRI came up. I felt that if a MRI was needed we should get her re-checked sooner so we didn't have to wait as long for the MRI.

She came within minutes of dieing and as of right now I don't know why. Something is wrong with her flappers, but for now she has a hole in her throat keeping her alive. Erin is such a good pony. I've been so busy the last two weeks she's sort of been ignored for awhile. I took her out to lunge her tonight and of course she was bonkers.
