Emma didn't move a muscle today on her ride to Pioneer. I didn't hear a peep out her the whole way there or back. Heck she was so relaxed in the trailer she didn't even poop there or back. The wounds looked really good today when I changed her bandage.  The swelling around the wounds was almost all gone.

My mom and I drove down yesterday and brought her home this morning. She sure was ready to get home. She never jumps into the trailer that fast. Usually she hesitates for a second, you give her a tap with the lead rope, then she goes in. This morning she just about ran into the trailer without me.

The barn just isn't the same without miss Emma there to be her cranky self. It still hasn't even quite sunk in yet that she has stitches and staples and a big bandage from hock to hoof since I haven't seen her all week. I still have this feeling like this didn't really happen. That I'm still dreaming.
