I'm so proud of Erin. She's such a smart horse. My goal was to teach her to lunge (at least half decently) by the time we went to Pebble. I can finally say we have reached our goal. She now lunges pretty well in both directions, and that's with only practicing every couple of weeks. She goes to the left much easier than the right, but she has now ( Read more... )

I'm so talented. I can video tape myself and jump at the same time. Haha I'm funny too.

Erin was a really good girl yesterday at Leone's and placed 2nd out of 4 with some pretty nice horses in her class. I was very happy with her. She trotted nicely during her class but of course had to throw in a nice buck at the end. The judge seemed to like her personality.

It's official......As of today I'm now an employee of the State of California working in the Animal Health Branch, Equine Medication Monitoring Program. That sounds a lot cooler than horse show drug tester. LOL ( Read more... )

I took Erin to Let's Show at Ram Tap today.  I was really happy with her. I didn't take her up to the show area until before the class since it was so far from the trailers and stalls. Happy Birthday Erin

I'm seriously ticked off right now. We were told a few weeks ago that the barn was closing and that we had until May 1st to move. The reasons we were given were that it took too much work, they didn't like the horses chewing their fences, and that they wanted more privacy. Ha! What a bunch of bull hoggy!
