Show him what we were. Let him see that he was, and still is, loved. I am sure he has heard terrible things about us, and has based his decisions on them, without knowing the whole truth.
Show him. Do not force the memories, for that is dangerous, but often repressed memories are first unlocked in dreams.

I hadn't thought of that....I had completely forgotten of Pyramid Head's ability to travel between the material plane and the dreaming.
