It’s been a while from the last time… Today’s Menagerie is mostly English. Rules as usual: the language of description tells you the language of the link’s content.

I got a kick out of the clock and the modern publishing vocabulary -- thanks for sharing! :)

Thank you for all the English links!!
#I have saved the tips for authors - some good definitions there!! #Having been to Poland I got nostalgic looking at some of those pics and have saved the collection because when we went it was pre-digital era and we only have old fashioned photographs which I can never find.
#I am not at all sure why you should add ice to water before boiling it. However, I am sure the instructions are useful, especially 4 and 9.
#I absolutely hate muscled male bodies - no attraction at all.
#The moomin skeleton is delightful.
#My eyes started glazing over in the movie monster article.
#The clock reminds me of our kitchen wall clock which is backwards - the figures are backwards and the hands move anti clockwise so when it looks like quarter to something it is really quarter past, etc. You get used to it really quickly.

My pleasure! I should do it more often... (And more often bring pretty Polish things, if you liked this one. :)

I wondered about this too. Maybe it's supposed to work as some reverse Mpemba effect?

It depends, for me. Overmuscled, yeah, I'm with you. Usually this is my first thought. *g*

I think I've seen such ones here and there, but I never used one. Must be fun to have time going backwards. :)

Definitely yes to the pretty Polish things. It was the most exciting holiday I ever had and one of the most beautiful. Gdansk, I think, is my favourite city ever. I bought some amber jewellery in the street in that picture. Malbork brought crusaders alive for me in a way other castles never had. We saw the bison, but in the wildlife park, not the actual forest.

There will be more in future Menageries, then!
(I love amber. And I do agree these other things are wonderful, too.)
