I've been in a rut these last few... while, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that most of what I do has come down to one routine after another. There isn't a whole lot of creativity going on.

So, help me out.

Give me a plot line, and I'll respond with 800 words.

And if it runs over 800 words, that's just fine-n-dandy! The story limit is 5,000 words, last time I checked.

Yes, I'm being transparently manipulative, but I'm kinda desperate and poking every good writer I know. Christine has said if she doesn't get more stories for this year's anthology, she might have to just cancel the whole thing. I'm going to write up another story idea I had, but just one more story won't be enough...
