Maybe you should have an article-writing party with free food and/or booze. You give them the food during and they get the booze once they've finished something.

I like your plan, although the part in the middle, where people write articles, may not be so sucessful.

Especially since they can all get their own booze whenever they want, anyway.

It's true that commercially produced alcohol does seem to be strangely widely available here...but I think people might still flock to a free source. I don't know. It might be worth a try.
