I picked up an LCD screen protector pack today (you know the one, the adhesive plastic). Opening the package, I see there are two packets of wipes. One is a wet wipe and the other is a dry wipe. Both have directions on them including big numbers for Step 1 and Step 2 ( Read more... ) -
Really fantastic Christmas present
Upon returning to Atlanta, diamonddustshoe gave me a fantastic, handmade gift that took seventy billion years (estimated) to make: an all copper rosary. It goes along with the theme of copper when she made a copper dreamcatcher (and a copper 3D dreamcatcher no less). Here's a set of pictures taken in Miami at a church called La Ermita de La Caridad (Shrine of Our Lady of Charity)(sorry, the page is only available in Spanish). It's located on the edge of Biscayne Bay in Miami. The pictures are of the bay and surrounding area (including looking towards part of Downtown) and of La Ermita itself inside and out.

Looks like I was given a photo subject today...
My dad was pulling out the generator to test it this morning and was greeted by a surprise guest in the shed. A very large, green iguana.

Vacation begins...sort of
I'll be going on vacation for about three weeks. But it's not entirely a vacation because I have to bring my proposal paperwork with me and continue writing my proposal while I'm home. I'm hoping the change of scenery will help clear my head and let me finish up the proposal so I can present it in January ( Read more... )
