just wondering...how do you make this thing friends only? cuz after the missouri/minnesota/missisipi/mumbletypething school shottoing lj thing...you know...don't want scary gothy psychos reading this....

and i can't figure out how to do it! help, anyone?

on your update journal page, the very first "option" right under the place you type is "security". the default setting for this is "public", but you can change it to "friends" or "private".

in general, livejournal FAQ is veryvery helpful for explaining stuff like that.

But there's also a way to set a minimum security level for all your posts, so you don't have to do it each time... I'm just not sure how. :P I've never done it.
