I used to like to run a lot. I felt it was something that I was good at. Not excellent, but better than the average person. I used to run around town and in the gym, until someone told me I ran funny. At first I let it go, but then I kept getting comments on how funny I ran. screw all of them! i think you should start running again :)

and im in the same boat, i have weak joints and crappy knees and ankles. poo.

exercise might bring a little bit of weight gain, but it depends on what youre doing and how youre doing it. if you walk and do a light jog, you will lose weight. if youre building up muscles, like going on a big incline or lifting, then youre going to gain muscle weight. BUT having more muscle helps to burn off the fat faster.

I've been running long distance and slow, and I am losing! Much happier this way. Plus I found a place to run where no one sees me! finally.
