Hyper-V: Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan bug in Windows 2012 R2
Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan doesn't save (loses) settings for a VM adapter when used in trunk mode (with -trunk switch) upon shutdown or restart. If you give again "Set-VMNetworkAdapterVlan -VMName vmname -trunk -allowedvlanidlist 3 -nativevlanid 0" after the guest is started then it works again but until the next restart only.

Global Warming
According to NASA collected data, the average temperature has risen 0.5 degree in the last 20 years. As it is a global average different places got different temperature increase. Because of this global warming we have our summer ~5 degrees hotter than we used to have.

Recently I saw what is offered as "cloud services" and what they are worth. A major telco reps came in with their laptops. Both are RDP-ing out to their Windows 2012 or something to do internet browsing and Excel. Apple IOS proposes AES-CBC 256 bit, SHA2-256-128, DH Group 14 or 5 MODP. Also it's ok to use AES-CBC 128 bit, SHA1 96 bit and 1024 bit MODP. Also 3DES, SHA1 96 bit and 1024 bit MODP.

M1 (F3) Roundabout is gone
Newcastle Council has removed the large roundabout at the end of M1 (F3) road also called Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. Looks like they're going to build a traffic light crossing instead. Now there are going to be long traffic queues from all directions.

Do NOT buy Fisher and Paykel appliances -- but is it due to their poor design or poor quality?
Yes, their products are sometimes unique, for example those dual drawer dishwashers. But the quality of their products is just too bad. Not exactly the build quality, if you look closely they are simply badly designed.
