Have you contacted the career center(s)? They have programs for grad school admissions, but I don't know if they already happened or are coming up. I'd give them a call and ask if there's someone who specializes in this for your graduate program, either in their office or on campus. Here's their contact stuff:

Some good advice I received was to open with an anecdote of some kind that illustrates an ability of yours or the point you decided to pursue psych. Nothing, however, is going to alleviate the fact that PERSONAL STATEMENTS SUCK. Good luck.

bschool basement in the weston career center has some resources...i need to do mine too, and cover letter...and alot of other things.. -_-|||
