Rehersal with Orchestra
We had our first rehearsal with the Orchestra and it went very well. The efficiency of the orchestra surprised me because we did very little re-work. That is a little unusual. Simple Weekend
Erin and I hung out on Friday evening. It was very mellow and relaxing. Had writers group on Saturday morning at Solid Grounds. Cleaned up my apartment a bit. Went out for dinner with umbra_latro to the Great Wall of China Buffet. It was good, with a huge selection. That after that we caught up on the Venture brothers. Mile High Flea Market
Did the annual sojourn to the Mile High Flea Market today with umbralatro and forceofdarknes. This one went much more smoothly than last year's event. I believe that forceofdarknes made out very well with his toy hunt. We scanned the entire market in less time this year. Also no sunburns for anyone, which is very good.

Dance rehersal
It was a very challenging dance rehearsal tonight and it was very rewarding. We worked our butts of and it felt good, We finally got the chair for David [Motel] during the wedding scene. It is not too bad for the four of us to lift him ( Read more... ) -
More acting
Acting practice tonight went well. We did all of act one off book, we did act two on-book and then touched a few scenes from act one. I finally remember to give David the note about his delivery of his line in Scene Six. Bill did a little bit better tonight with giving direction. A weekend at Gerlick Mountain
I had a wonderful weekend up at Gerlick Mountain with gecota, manifest_image, the wonderful Gerlick parents, Eric, his daughter Karma and for this first time ever tsunami_jones. It was wonderful. We ate good meals, took a few hikes, and ever watched some good movies. Saw 1776, Death at a Funeral and Shogun Assassin all for the first time. It was a very happy Fourth of July
