As an eating disordered vegan I feel like my next comment is tainted somewhat, but I really don't believe my eating disorder and my veganism are related. I'm an animal rights ativist, and my activism is expressed through the food I eat and the products I buy. There's plent of high fat, high calorie vegan foods out there anyway. Fritos and oreos are vegan. I could get french fries and soda at In & Out every day and still be vegan.
Girl scout cookies aren't, but that didn't stop me from having a few out of the communal boxes at work. I checked every single flavor. They all have something dairy in them.

You're right about the veganism, but I think a lot of people associate vegan eating with twigs and berries. Every time I'd tell someone I'm vegan I'd get the, "But what do you eat?" Ughh...
