Thank you. And I'm sorry about your baby too. It really does. But I realized, it only hurts so much because we get such love from them while we have them, so maybe it's a worthwhile tradeoff.
I'm so sorry. Don't second-guess yourself, there was nothing you could do against that diagnosis, except make her comfortable. You were very brave and kind to let her go when she needed it. Xander will probably be mourning too. Hopefully you can help each other through this.
Thank you. Xander seems to be doing all right, maybe a little more needy of attention, which I'm trying to give him, and he's definitely a comfort to me.
