Loved Last Exile. It was an unexpected treasure and Dio warmed my heart.

But I don't know how I feel about Last Exile 2. I'm surprised Dio is making a comeback. I'm also glad Hitomi will still do the music (but is it Hitomi only or will it be dolce triad?)

I read LJ Smith when I was a youngster (oh my gawd, I was a youngster?). I loved Meredith from The Vampire Diaries--probably because she was the most normal of them all (i.e., just the right amount of mystery and sadness to her history, but she didn't have silly Druidistic powers or Renaissance brothers dueling for a bite at her neck). I am on Google and find a book with a title that may help me in my "crash course" to better understand critical hermeneutics. When I scroll down and happen to see the name of the author, I quirk my eyebrow, slightly purse my lips, and utter a noncommittal, "Hmm." The world must indeed be getting smaller...

I have the introduction to my proposal due tomorrow. Did I start yet? *laughs hysterically* This is supposedly the easiest section, too. I mean, it's just the introduction, for crying out loud... It's only 3-5 pages.

Sonofa...! Someone already did what I was going to do. Published February 2010. Apparently my fault for not seeing this until now...

I sent a frantic email to my Chair yesterday; ordered the book and will see where I can leap frog from this thing...
