VIRGIN ANGEL AHOY.
Reply
The thing about angels was - well, they were interesting. Another thing that shouldn't exist, a polar opposite to him and his. Greed was absolutely fascinated with the concept, and with the budding friendship he had with one mischievous Arch Angel, the homunculus was hungry for more.
Not that he'd push his luck with just anyone, but it seemed that this one? It'd be a challenge. And Greed hadn't had a true challenge in some time.
So, he offered his services as 'tender, as an audience. "So - what's go you tethered to the human race like a lost pup?" The homunculus purred as he served up another drink. "Didn't think you lot had a purpose other than to watch. But I guess that was all proved wrong by your brother there, wasn't it?" Greed leaned across his bar, hummed in Castiel's direction. And oh, was he just eating the other creature up. Castiel was a different breed than Gabriel - more serious, stoic poker-face kind of fellow ( ... )

Of course, it wasn't as if Castiel was a real talker, which was truly a disappointment for the homunculus. He wanted it all and the shielded conversation wasn't enough. He'd try to bait and twist, bring the angel in hook, line, and sinker. But the guy was good, Greed would give him that much.
So, he put on the pressure.
It was after the bar had finally shut down. Greed had closed up shop a little early, if not to pursue his own needs. He had poured himself a fresh scotch on the rocks and taken up residence next to Castiel at the bar. Crawled into the space there and leaned in a little too close for comfort. It was probably not allowed exactly, but he wasn't the type of creature to follow the rules ( ... )

Castiel was there by choice. When he looked back, he might wonder if it was the wisest choice -- but just then, he didn't really care. He'd needed a temporary escape. Live, Gabriel had told him. The only problem with his brother's advice? Cas didn't exactly know how to live, how to let go of what he was without completely losing himself like so many Fallen. Gabriel and Balthazar had found some sort of balance, but he had no intention of asking Gabriel for any secrets or tips, and of course Balthazar was no longer there (but in all honesty he wasn't sure he'd ask him either, even if he was ( ... )

Not the first in any sort of romantic implication or virginal conquest. She was the first thing he collected when he got to Aliunde; offered his services and snatched a right prize out of the deal. So, she always pulled his favor whenever she had need of him.
He never forced anything, never asked. It wasn't in his nature to do so; despite being a base sort of creature, the homunculus had standards. Rules. Regulations. And everyone in the 'Nest knew them - they were simple to follow instructions, anyway. Loyalty first. Never hurting a woman? Second on the list.
So, he had been coy. Played around and flirted all the same, but he never asked for her services. She wasn't a whore, not to him. She was one of his own, a part of the Gang of freaks and misfits that Greed seemed all too keen on having. He would visit her at night and get the information she gathered; he'd offer her a seat at the myriad of food if and when the members of The Devil's Nest actually decided to sit down to a meal ( ... )

But he didn't let that show - he was too well-trained against showing his hand in any way. He merely peered up at Gabriel from beneath his lashes and grinned as he settled in on a barstool, every inch the recalcitrant schoolboy. If one could ignore the fangs.
"That would depend whose laws we're playing by here, wouldn't it?" He asked, voice as pretty as the rest of him, with an accent that might be Greek, might be Italian. "Under American law, I suppose I'm not. But pick a country in western Europe - I'd be legal enough there."
If he was aware of the double meaning in that statement, he gave no sign of it.

Gabriel inclined his head, because fair was fair, it was a good answer. The angel could respect that where-ever it came from, and perhaps some of the tension he felt, some of the innate mistrust calmed. Just a little. "Well, I guess that as we're not in Europe or the States, it doesn't matter much either way, does it?"
And so saying, Gabriel reached his hand down, taking his own glass of something sticky and bright-green from the shelves below the counter, took a swallow, keeping his attention on the young creature. It really was a pretty thing, they always were though, right? Attracting prey, etc etc. Although frankly Gabriel could guess exactly what sort of prey was attracted to the boy in front of him.
Ha, boy. He could have been a thousand years old or more.
"Well, as you're legal, I suppose I can get you a drink. What'll it be?"
