I just got rid of a lot of shit that I had always saved. Things people have said to me that I thought were nice at the time. It feels incredibly good to get rid of all of that stuff. hey livejournal, i'm 23 and as of last sunday i have my first boyfriend ever. just thought i'd share.

in september i wrote about having the confidence to sing on stage alone. its march aaand i did it. this weekend a chorus line closes and i'm singing and i'm doing good and now i think i can move on to bigger and better things. i'm a little disappointed though. no one really came to see this show (friends-wise). apparently 3 weeks isn't long ( Read more... )

i never update but right now i'd like to say i'm a very happy alison at the moment.

the meowing and woofing and huns has really gotten to a point where i'd rather sit with my dog instead of hang out with my friends.

today as i was walking into the theater noel complimented me and told me that i am "a joy to watch on the stage." he also said he hopes i'm around when they do "a chorus line" next season. i'm thinking more and more that i will have the confidence to sing on a stage. i stopped shaking every time i say my two words that i do say in "the wild party ( Read more... )

i have to stop being so eager to please other people. but the problem is that i am so happy when i feel like i am doing something to make other people happy. but i need to focus on myself and do whatever i want for myself. and maybe hang out with johnny groeling every day of my life.

what happened to all of my friendships?

i don't think my life is as bad as my posts generally make it seem.
i've been doing well. but i am still always setting myself up to get involved in shitty situations.
i might be getting a job at applebees. fml.
