Went to Yorktown Beach for the first time today! It was actually a random beach along the Colonial Parkway on the way to Yorktown, but still. It was really hot and the water was an odd mixture of hot and cold, but also really refreshing. And close. I plan on going back before the summer is over

I'm in the desert and we've been having highs around 70 and rain...go figure.
