Wooohoo! I just spent the night in the lab because I was running an experiment. I am either full of WIN or full of FAIL - I can't tell which. Either way I feel like a "real" grad student now.

I'm back! Finally. It feels like coming home even more than I thought it would...and less strange...although I keep having to pinch myself ( Read more... )

So we (James, Lilly, and Sheryl from chem and Lilly's friend (and Montana native) Sam) went to some hot springs over in Idaho. The drive was beautiful. We got to the trailhead at dusk and hiked in to the hot springs (about 1.5 miles). There are several pools and they're all along the river.
