I adore this. Seriously, I think this fic addresses some of the topics alot of us aren't willing to address spur of the moment.

Yesterday, I had a college senior tell me that he didn't want to study the gay rights movement because he was raised catholic and didn't believe that gays had rights.

I told him that he didn't have to agree with their way of life, but it didn't mean they are any less human or deserve less than straight people.

He disagreed. I had to stop talking to him before I punched him in the face.

thank you for writing this. I've already whirled my way through the entire series twice, and I am so thankful that you address this not as a religious notion as a whole, but rather a single person's (misguided and pathetic) view.
