I loved this- the whole series is awesome, but this part was definitely my favorite (because I am a total sucker for happy endings).

Only two complaints-that-aren't-really-complaints:

1. I now have the 'Bonanza' theme stuck in my head...where it will most likely stay for the next several days.
2. That bacon-jalapeno-pineapple pizza sounds revolting. But that may just be because I am both a vegetarian and allergic to jalapenos. Either way...definitely not something I would have thought of.

Meanwhile....excellent story. I hope there's more in the series.

As to the pizza, it's definitely not everyone's tastes, but it really is awesome (although I'm from Texas and therefore have been known to eat jalapenos straight from the jar) Plus, I was kind of going for a pizza as metaphor sort of concept, with Will introducing Finn to all these different possibilities and new things---Tracy Chapman, jalapenos on pizza, kissing other guys...

Glad you liked it. No clue what's going to happen next, but at least my conscience is clear now that they're not both all miserable and angsting over their unrequited love.

I love my slightly broken boys (all the more because I'm the one who broke 'em) so it felt so good to give them the tentative start of a happily ever after.

And there will be sex someday, I'm sure of it. I can't live with myself if I don't allow them to have sex somewhere down the line.

Warren Zevon: A Quiet Normal Life is a fantastic album and I have sentimental attachment to it as it was the first one I ever bought by him.

The Wind, Life'll Kill Ya, and My Ride's Here are also excellent.

On The Wind, there is a song called Rub me Raw that has one of the absolutely most delicious dirty guitar riffs I've ever heard. I think it could make nuns start pole dancing.

It makes Finn want to track down every single person who ever hurt Mr. Schue, let him down, made a promise and then didn’t keep it. And it makes him pray more profusely than he ever has in his life that he’s not going to be one of those people.-- This fits perfectly with Finn's moral code and his unsure innocence.

My heart broke when Will was shocked that Finn showed up then it got all put back together when Finn tried to convince Will that it wasn't all about sex. Then proceeded to be so fuckin' adorable with his little speech.

I love that they're taking it slow but finally being honest.

I can't wait for more... There is more right???

Okay, first of all, your icon is making me want some more Finn/Mercedes fic because they just look too damn adorable. So, yeah. You should get on that right now.

Glad you enjoyed this as the whole thing was 7000+ words of me going 'yes, finallly about fucking damn time!' It felt soooo good for them to stop being stupid never talk about their feelings boys and lay it all out there. I mean, I know I'm the evil puppetmaster who's been making them miserable, but I still hate it when my puppets are sad.

As to more, I have no clue what's going to happen next to be totally honest. But at least I've left them in a bit of a good place while I figure all that out.

I'm thinking I'm going to slip some Finn/Mercedes in one of my bigbang fics because since writing them once I just can't leave them for three months. I almost died from a fangirl brain-frying when I found that pic. I felt really bad about cutting Mark out of it but I just couldn't help it.

Also I think Will and Finn are in a really good place for a little hiatus. Maybe their sex dreams can be enjoyed by both of them a bit more now at least. But I am still definitely looking forward to any more you share from this 'verse.
