Oh, this is beautiful and the slow burn is so, so believable. I love how you've portrayed Finn as an immature kid who has a little-seen older head on his shoulders, and Will as an adult who has a little-seen younger head on his shoulders.

He makes sense with Will. When he’s with Will he can see that Will always needed a person like him, which is as good a reason as any to be the way he is.

I think that's my favourite line, you know. And as a music geek, your fics make me very very happy. I also love how you describe Finn and Will's little gestures of caring about each other.

Oh, damn you honey! I was trying to just have the one OTP in this bloody fandom but you and your Winning ways have corrupted me!

I love your Finn so damn much, because he's so adorable and nervous and oddly mature but still FINN - and frankly, your portrayal of Will is one of the few that actually makes me like the man! And I don't just like him here, I'm kinda crushing almost as hard as Finn on him because he's so sweet and messed up (AND A FELLOW NINA FAN!! \o/!!) and so epically sneaky with his plans for getting back at Sue!

And even though I love the smut, one of the things I liked best about this was Will recognizing he's a bit screwed up at the moment and them deciding to take it slow. That felt so right that I really didn't mind the lack of sex! *hearts you madly*

I totally threw in Will's Nina love as an attempt to win(n) you over to the dark side. And it worked! Clearly I am as much of an evil genius as Will.

I'm loving adorkably struggling at maturity Finn. It's so weird, I feel like I'm watching him grow up before my eyes or something. And kind of fucked up Will is more fun to write than I ever imagined it would be.

Will deciding to take it slow, I knew it had to be that way because it just wouldn't be healthy for either of them to fall into bed just yet, but damn was I tempted to chuck all my good intentions and just have them start ripping each other's clothes off...I content myself with the knowledge that it'll be even better after the waiting. A nice drawn out courtship.

It makes me shiver with antici...pation.

I see your Rocky Horror reference there!!!

Because yes - while I *totally* understood the need to go slow I did have a little chant of 'Just get them to FUCK already!' going in my head!

*cough* Not that that's a hint or anything...

I can't believe I haven't commented on this fic yet - I've read it several times! I like seeing Will a bit vulnerable (granted, here he is way vulnerable) and what-the-hell-they are going to go slow?!? But I need to remember to trust your instincts. You haven't let me down yet. And there is so much to be said for holding hands, and cuddling, and passionate kisses that don't go anywhere.

PS loved the sentence: "My shit is still fucked up, Finn." (And to think just a few hours before when he was swearing up a storm from his nose being touched, he felt bad that he swore in front of Finn (a student).
