The fact that there's only the two of us still in, that you sit at the other end of the room and I have headphones on isn't a justification for letting go a couple of long and loud farts. The video I was listening to is over, so there was nothing to cover the noise.

A simple "Sorry" might have been acceptable.

Poor you. I wouldn't trust anything but those industrial ear defenders to hide the sound of a fart, unless I could hear the soundtrack being playe from across the room. I, on the other hand, caught myself apologising to an empty room in the middle of the night at the weekend!

Yes. I think women are more situationally and socially aware and don't let go if there's anyone else in the room.
