Powered by five cups of tea (my normal daily quota is three) I finally emptied the 'box of doom' yesterday. Pretty much every item of paper that I own is now filed in at least *some* kind of manner. I have to say, it feels rather good... :o

PLV mentioned something about a meeting this wed/thursday.
As a suggestion (although PLV pointed out the amount of travelling you guys have scheduled for next week might put you off this), but you could head over to our way for a dinner rather than in town. The cooking of fish and a certain type of potato could be arranged (and some somewhat more normal meat for the sensible people).

hmmm.... a tempting proposition.... :o) I think that we are not going to make it this week though. We have only got three evenings - Tuesday to Thursday - and two are now I think taken up because we have to have Habibi's 30th birthday tea with his parents on Thursday (his father is away until then) and his mother has asked us to take her to see the Mamma Mia film.... although we might conceivably be able to fit that in one afternoon, I don't know which afternoon, but anyway.... Yeah, so the one remaining evening we were kind of hoping to go on an actual date! Like... together, to dinner, just the two of us! It's a very exciting prospect and I'm afraid even the promise of your special sauce is not really enough to tear us away from that one at this stage.... sorry.... I'll talk to Habibi today or tomorrow to see if he has any clever scheduling suggestions, but he's in Ireland right now and his UK phone doesn't seem to work any more. Also if we *could* come down to you, I think the only day we could come would be Wednesday night, and
