Sitting up with Habibi watching coverage of the US elections. Playing on the NaNoWriMo site (yeah... plv got to me...). I want to make her my buddy, but it's 3:18am and I can't work out how...

... particularly Mackinac in Michigan and Monterrey in Mexico.

Made manoushe for the first time - dough and everything, za'atar topping. It turned out mostly okay - definitely edible. Next time I must use a slightly lower temperature in the oven, use slightly more olive oil in my za'atar mix and also put the mix on the bread slightly later in the cooking process so it doesn't burn. Will be in London Wednesday afternoon - Friday evening. Have to drop by college. There *may* be thesis handing-in-age.
Back in Warrington Friday night - Monday afternoon.
London again Monday evening through Friday morning (yay Habibi yay)
Friday afternoon - flying out to the Americas, back about the 23rd July

Toasted tea cakes and fruit and lemon drizzle cake for tea, then watched the football and did some work on the uber-wedding-guest-address-list...

Where is all this water coming from? It has been falling out of the sky all day. I think there must be some incontinent hamsters up there or something.

At least the rain has been here and not at Wimbledon! Plenty of thesis-proof-reading to the gentle sound of thwacking rubber. Rather cathartic really.
