I got the Engineering Geologist Associate position. That should be great news, except that the salary is not even close to my current pay. I talked him up a buck an hour, but it still doesn't come close. I can't afford a pay cut, especially one of this size. I've been in California since early 2003, and have moved at least 7 times. I lost count. The point is, I'm moving again but I don't know where! I think I'm taking a job in Los Angeles, so I'm looking at apts. there. Although I might have another 2 interviews in the Long Beach/OC area. Everything is such a mess. i was sort of offered a job today. don't know if i'll take it, but it's nice to know i'm wanted. i need a change. plus, the money is great. money is not everything, but it does matter unfortunately.
