I note with sadness that the LHC failed miserably at creating a singularity that destroyed the Earth.  Tragically, I suspect this means I will have to go to work tomorrow.

In other news, the high Saturday will be the ridiculously warm 82, so I won't get to wear my grey wool dress yet.  Drat.

Yesterday I realized that I hadn't sent in the warranty card on the new hot tub.  As this is vaguely important, I sat down at my desk and went to get the paperwork out of my "to be filed" pile in my document sorter.

No hot tub warranty paperwork.  No hot tub instruction manual.

HRM was fun, if quite hot.  Being too hot (plus having my giant boot of broken footedness) makes me quite stationary, so if I missed anyone there, I'm sorry.  HRM is one of those odd events that makes me appreciate how weird we all must seem--being on the end of the finger pointing and 'oooh, take a picture of that!' comments by the visiting public ( Read more... )

Is the principality thing seriously going around again?

Note that I have no dog in this fight, but I remember actually completing a polling on the name of the proposed northern principality maybe a decade ago.  It just keeps coming back over and over again...
