Not that it was horrible, but I was disappointed. What alien can be cool as Brian, what goldfish as awesome as Stewie.

If I tried to judge it on its own, I guess I laughed a few times, but it was still disappointed. Simpsons, on the other hand, was surprisingly good.

I'm trying to have faith in the fact that most pilots suck and characters always need to be refined over the first season. If they get past the first season, maybe it will rock. The first episode by itself, nothing special.

true. i mean, if we really are honest with ourselves, I think we can all agree that even the first FG episode was...well, not as good as the rest. Looking back now, we can see the makings of greatness in that first episode...and yet it too kinda fell flat. And remember the ORIGINAL pilot, as in the one shown on the DVD? Horrendous!
Well, even if american dad blows goats, at least we only have to wait till May....!
