Yesterday's post focused on the history of the Walmart situation, but I think it is necessary for me to now focus on why I specifically think this is a bad idea, besides the lack of trust Wal-Mart has inspired. Friday night, and I am in the office counting microbes to the beat of Daft Punk.  Rock.

Weddings were everywhere in Bloomington, Indiana this weekend.  I was there for my cousin Mark's wedding.  He's the first of my generation to get married.  The first that counts anyway.  Another cousin got married several years back, but he had only known her for 6 months and it didn't last.  His wife took his car and disappeared shortly thereafter ( Read more... )

My car isn't feeling too good.  Ever since I got it 2.5 years ago the engine temperature has always went up to exactly the same spot, 1/3 of the way up the gage.  Today I watched the needle creeping up, and up, and up, and up, and up, and was just getting to the red line at the top as I pulled into the Goodyear auto place ( Read more... )
