We've had about three or four power outages so far this year. And summer is only half over with, so we'll probably have more later on. Last night I noticed that the area where I had my lower teeth pulled has big gaps on both sides. I thought that it was dry socket -- the only thing I've ever heard about holes in the gums has been about dry socket. Plus, my gums have never truly stopped bleeding. The anesthesia didn't knock me out completely for the whole thing. I felt them poke the novocaine needles in my gums and cheek, and later I felt them smash something in my mouth. They must have been either splitting a tooth apart or chiseling a piece of jawbone out. I dunno. It was weird, though ( Read more... )

I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed on Tuesday. They are all still under the gum, however, so I guess they'll have to cut them out. I'm so worried that I'll get dry socket, though.
