[Once the assassins have found the hideout, they're given the chance to explore it, to mingle with their fellow recruits, and to get used to the tasks they'll eventually have to undertake. On the wall there is a plaque with rules written.
The Creed. Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
Stay your blade from flesh of an innocent

[ It's all said with a smile on his face, of course. Desmond walks up to the pillow she's sitting on, squatting down beside her. He's careful not to step on any of the things sprawled out on the floor. He learned his lesson, you see. He stepped on a power cord for Baby once and Rebecca never let him forget it. His eyes go straight to the hidden blade she's working on and he smiles. ]
Guess this means you'll be making our blades. Do we get to order them in multiple colors?

[ She smiles at him. Now if he were to stumble on something she wouldn't go ballistic but he'd see her less sunny side. Not to mention it'd hurt him. Lots of sharp pointy stuff. ] Heya Desmond.
It sure does. Blades, hook blades for all of ya later. Guns. Maybe some grenades ... bombs. [ Bombs Kaylee. Ezio wants bombs. They work with bombs. ] Are ya tellin' me ya'd like me to make the leather on yours nice an' pink?

[ Desmond sends a glance over at the Master Assassin at his table before looking back at Kaylee. ] Hey, Kaylee.
Hook blades too? I guess they'll be helpful. It's not like this place is Constantinople. [ He's really wondering if they'll need all these tools. ] ...wait, bombs too? Christ.
Actually, I was thinking black.

[ She stares thoughtfully down at her work. ] ... I think you're really on to somethin' there, Desmond.

Guess so. All I've ever had is the hidden blade. [ Desmond isn't counting all the memories of weapons he lived through. He doesn't count the others. ]
Meaning what?

Meanin' I just might go an' make all the bracers black. Don't look like anyone'd really complain 'bout that [ She glances around. Black would go with what everyone there has on. It's a little bit more work but they'll look amazing. ]

They'd probably want something that's not easily seen. Then again, I don't know how incognito we're meant to be here in Aliunde. Most Brotherhoods are pretty secretive, given the Creed. [ He pauses. ] So... are you joining the Order?
Reply
I don't got a single clue really. I'm just workin' order by order here 'til all of ya are set enough for me to go branchin' out, runnin' some ideas by Ezio. [ Her hands stop as she ponders his question. ] Well I ain't goin' through the trainin' ... but I'm makin' all your things. I don't think I'm in the Order.
Reply
What kind of ideas? [ Desmond tilts his head back as he listens to her order. ] Friend of the Order. That's just as good.

Well guns work different in the 'Verse compared to what Ezio's got all drawn up. An' I can do all manner of scramblers if ya gotta get past some electronic sensors. Other bits too. Depends on where all ya end up goin' to. For now I was gonna work on the gun first. Ezio wants one. [ She smiles. ] Friend of the Order. I like it! Friend ... amico.
Reply
Oh, that one. [ That hidden gun too, huh? ] I think you'd say it like... amico dell'Order. It's not like I'm fluent in Italian.
Reply
... those dolls really are somethin' else. [ Creepy. Mostly just creepy. ]
Well I sure ain't! It sounds real nice though.
Reply
[ Desmond smirks. ] Italian is a pretty nice sounding language.
Reply
Much nicer 'n anythin' I hear at home.
Reply
What languages do you have back at home?
Reply
Well, English. 's kinda obvious. An' Mandarin. 'cept the system warnings on Serenity are in Cantonese. 's not that much else 'cept some real specialized stuff out in certain colonies.
