I hate to sound like a cheerleader gleebag, but we went to see "Spring Awakening" last night, and I loved, Loved, LOVED IT!!! It made "Rent" look and sound like "The Sound of Music." Overheard in the audience of an off-broadway show, waiting for the curtain to come up. Woman behind me speaking on cell phone:

" . . . and tell him yes, I've seen the Audrey Hepburn commercial, and it's fantastic."

They found Hitler in Brazil. He announced that he's "deeply and profoundly sorry if his actions offended anyone," and that he's checking into rehab.

Also entering rehab this week: Pol Pot ("deeply sorry"), Bin Laden ("so sorry I can't stand it"), and Mark Foley ("really, really, really sorry that I didn't know IM's could be saved").

Ma and Dad are in town, so BF and I are taking them and assorted others to Daisy May's BBQ tonight. I pre-ordered (as one must to get them) half a pig and a whole rack of lamb. As Joey on "Friends" once memorably said, "Here come the meat sweats." Should be fun. You caint have a party without a pig!

In yesterday's New York Post, there was a big article about Oprah and her best pal Gayle King stating that they are NOT gay (NOT that there's anything wrong with that).
