Vince and Dave are brothers, and it's canon that Vince was in love with one of Audrey's previous incarnations. BUT AU Vince and Dave are *so* a gay couple. The clothes alone, and then when they opened their mouths . . .

I am so confused because William seemed like he was on the side of the good when he was trying to get Audrey, er, Lexi, out of the barn before it collapsed. But yes, it's fun to see him stretch his wings a bit.

And how adorable was Duke as a cop? Am I singleminded about this show? A little bit. I felt so bad for Audrey in AU Haven, though, that she had to see Nathan happy with someone else.

Um, I *know* that Vince and Dave are brothers, but I can't *buy* it, you know? I just made an assumption early on and it never left me. LOL.

William got Lexi out of the barn so he could HAVE HER. "You're MINE..." when he did that I was like whoa, no you didn't.

Duuuuuuuuuke. I'm singleminded as well. When he's in his white wifebeater? So hot. As a cop? So hot. Goofy un-troubled Nathan is adorable.

Yeah, I guess what I meant was . . . whoever wrote/styled/directed them in that episode has noticed . . . Also, the only reason there is not incestfic about them is because they are not young and hot enough. I begin to identify with the not-young and insufficiently-hot, so I am indignant on their behalf. Unless there is incestfic about them which a) I don't actually want to read it but b) I withdraw my indignation.

I think SyFy was playing us intertextually a little, knowing much of its audience knows him as Sheriff Carter and thus assumes he'll be a good guy. I'd kind of like to rewatch their scenes to see if there are clues that I ignored because he just gives off that good guy vibe.

Dr. Nathan . . . if the word adorkable can apply to anyone other than Zoe D., then he's it.

I could describe the reasons I *liked* "Prometheus", but then I'd be subject to ridicule. And not without reason. But there was an atmosphere of real alien desolation in that. Of discovery and human failing.

I wasn't a huge fan of Prometheus but I do agree that for all its flash and all its pleasures (and Charlie Hunnam's abs), Pacific Rim had no atmosphere to speak of whilst Prometheus had atmosphere by the bucketload.

PacRim was enjoyable but I feel that they just let go of any deeper meaning they might have imbued into it. The best bits were when we saw the effects suffered by people in the cities, and how the main character had to get work when he lost his brother.

Also IDRIS ELBA.
