You're very brave, my dear, and you're trying to handle a terrible situation in a humane, personal way, and it sucks beyond belief that you're being treated with such careless cruelty in the process. I think leaving it up to the mediator is an A+++ decision; and I think you're being too kind to him still, but that's just because you're a lovely person.

I know you have a lot going on, but I also hope you'll try to take it as easy as possible in the coming days - treat yourself nicely, get tons of sleep, have a spa day or two (or five). You sure as hell deserve it, and more. *ALL THE HUGS*

Oh my god, what a thing to have to do -- and yet, you have to do it. Don't beat yourself up too much! It's awful. I divorced my first husband almost forty years ago and I still can't bear to think about it. Just remember to take care of yourself, as hard as that is right now. I'm so glad you have a therapist and a mediator to help you along. Sending you big hugs.

Not arguing with you. But he is not being awesome.

(I KNEW, I KNEW you were going to bust your hump putting him through school and then he was going to leave you high and dry. I KNEW IT. Stereotypical little shit.)

Ok I'm not arguing with you. But there is no way, no fucking WAY you should go to his citizenship thing. It's not actually your achievement, though you did do much of the necessary work. Who GIVES a shit if he's alone there??? WHEN HAS HE EVER BEEN THERE FOR YOU JUST INCLUDING THIS LATEST DICKISH BEHAVIOR??????

Ok not arguing with you...
