Leap Day! As previously documented, our family tradition is to celebrate by doing silly things we don't normally do. Yes, more properly it should be "things we only do every four years," but it's still a school night and I was hard up for ideas. There are four preteens in my living room watching anime and shrieking, which I recall is primarily what one does at that age? In any case, it seems to be good-natured shrieking. Cons: As of 4:15pm this afternoon, the fancy coffee maker that grinds our beans, brews the coffee, and then connects the IV directly into our veins appears to be dead.
Pros: At least we're learning this now, instead of on Christmas morning? -

Six years at this job and I still cannot remember which two weeks out of the month we have staff meetings. "Not the week I show up" seems to be the general consensus. -
