After a few dolmas, gambas, yellow cake with chocolate frosting, coffee, baked macaroni and cheese and $80, I remember clearly why I love my job. Usually.

Tomorrow will be the first BBQ of summer followed by practice and probably more eating.
Not bad. If I can put off thinking about summer school just a little longer things will be ok.

Today was nice. My dad picked me up from school and we went to lunch at Pita Jungle. Then we went to the animal shelter and deseret industries. I seriously love hanging out with my dad. He'd better move to Portland with me.

So Roe Vs. Wade is up again. Only this time there are two more EXTREMELY conservative judges on the Supreme Court. Not for the whole country, only South Dakota. For now. Funding was also cut for social service programs that would fund place such as my internship and just about every other social work-affiliated facility and was put into churches. ( Read more... )

I'm not sure what to think/do about my internship.

Yesterday was draining.
Today was tiring and long.
Tomorrow will just be gay.

I went to sleep at 10:15 last night. I slept pretty much until 6:40 with the exception of a loud car alarm around 2:00. I needed that so bad. I don't know how I will be able to force myself into a habit of waking up early 4 days in a row which I will be doing at least until May 2nd ( Read more... )
