Lovely ending! Heartwarming to know that Sirius has a banner from his friends and a motorcycle model in his trunk even if he's exiled to his room for the rest of the holiday. And I like the way it came about with a good-natured bribe of his favorite cousin. And in regards to your authors note, I too, always pictured the Blacks being lenient with underage magic, viewing it as a heritage and a right. So glad you jotted this out for our amusement! ; )

Great ficlet! His parents will freak out when they see the banner, but just wait till the half-naked Muggle girls come up. Trust me on this, JKR wrote "bikini-clad" not to be censored, but those girls did *not* wear their bikini tops in the seventies. Or even the late sixties.

Oh, I really should get my thumbs out of my arse (Swedish saying) and do some work on my ficlets and put them up on FA. The first one is up there already. But that means a certain aussie have to Beta...is she up to that? Just FYI I'm going to town tomorrow to find a nice christmas present for her.

Yes, Aussie will be able to Beta :) I am on holidays as from Friday 18 December, and don't go back to work until 11 January. THREE WEEKS OF LEAVE!!!! *does happy dance* May spend a few days with friends up the coast, but otherwise SHOULD be around at home - painting, sewing, just flaking out and doing nothing...
