OH MY DEAR, POOR, BROKEN CAS. /whimpers
As much as I dislike all the self-loathing he's doing, I am extremely amused. Not because I enjoy seeing Cas in pain, but because I'm seeing Dr. House in your Cas. （￣▽￣;） I love House, and when I first saw pictures of Misha not as Cas, to me, he totally looks like a younger version of Hugh Laurie. (≧ω≦) The leg injury, the drug dependence, all the hate directed to the world and to himself...just, UGH. Totally plucking my heartstrings the right way. ♥
Also, that bit in the first part when Dean belatedly told the doctor that Cas had 'mental issues' made me chuckle because it felt like something straight out of an episode of House MD. Too awesome. XD

Can't wait for the next (last?щ(ﾟДﾟщ）) part! Hope Cas trudges on. And I sure do hope Bobby comes back, too. （≧Д≦）

lol! In fact, when I'd written this and plotted out where I was taking them in my next purgatory fic, one thought jumped out... Hang on, I'm turning Cas into House here! Perhaps with no House any more *sob* I'm unintentionally melding it into Supernatural *g*

Next part up soon! There shall be trudging... and they're going to trudge into purgatory, where there'll be lots more trudging (and fighting and angsting!) - The next part is the last chapter, but I'm continuing the verse :D Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy the next part!

I jumped with joy when I saw this, but oh man it is brutal. Yet I love it all the more for that; Their lives suck too much to be fixed simply and quickly. I just hope Castiel (and Dean, for that matter) do eventually get the salvation they need and so very deserve. =[

Yay for jumping! :D And I love that you love the brutality... er, in a companionable angsty way, not sadist way XD You're right, there are no quick fixes. Sometimes you have to brave the dark to reach the light at the end of the tunnel (there is a light, for this one at least *g*). I'll see what I can do about salvation... ;)
