i have a feeling he doesn't have to deal with scheduling though - lucky!!

If by scheduling you mean figuring out how a few residents will do the work of many, then I do. But I never have the headaches large numbers of residents brings.

I totally read to make sure my teaching is correct. =S

scheduling just really sucks the life out of me. i don't feel like a chief, i just feel like an under-recognized administrative assistant, and a terrible one at that! people have been saying for years that we need to hire somebody, even before we got up to almost 100 people including med/peds, and 4 different hospitals, and 4 continuity clinics to deal with :(
