My new bike!
I haven't had a bicycle since my days at Rice pedaling around campus on a purple Huffy. Now that I live so close to work though, I decided biking to work would be a great way to get my exercise regimen going. Biking along the beach path on weekends would also be awesome. AUUUUGGGGHHH!! The freakin' fire sprinkler went haywire while we were out to dinner. I am SO tired of mopping up the bathroom floor! -
At least I didn't get showered on
I have Thursday mornings off, to compensate for the evening shift I do in urgent care each week. Usually I sleep in as much as possible, to make up for the other nights when I usually get 6 hours or less of sleep - it's also my chance to snuggle with all the animals, who like to pass out on the bed with me. Racing Sammy
I never imagined myself ever owning a chihuahua, and definitely not entering him in the Petco chihuahua races, but what can I say, Sammy is one heck of a dog. Who else could convince Baka to wake up early on a Saturday morning to head inland? :P

Confessions of a terrible cook
I don't know WHAT it is, since I've always been a decent baker, but ask me to actually make something savory for dinner, and I'm at a loss in the kitchen. I'm fortunate that Baka's a pretty good cook... he thinks it's my need to stick to recipes, since baking does rely greatly on precision.
