I was rejected...?

If you were not approved to join the community and want to know why, you can comment on this post. These are the most common reasons for rejection:

- You have no credit for your icons/graphics
- You never update your journal
- You've been caught stealing graphics
- You have nothing on your journal aka it looks like a troll
- You look suspicious

Just to let you know, I just recently joined and am switching LJs. I just joined as un_sedentarym which is my new one - if the content is identical, it's not anything weird, so you can approve (would appreciate :)).

I changed my username from romanticblonde to my_jewelry_box. Asked to join twice in the new name, and I keep getting emails that I've been declined. I figured it was because My journal wasnt up and running, (seeing the reasons at the top of this entry) but its nice and running now, so if you could let me join again? :)

Yea I didn't approve it because it was never updated and stuff...looked like a troll journal lol. I'll approve you though now that I know it's you =)

Hey I got declined and I'm pretty sure it was because of the no crediting thing. I saved those icons long before I knew what "crediting" was. A few friends found for me. The new ones I have are credited I just haven't had time to switch them around. With a full time job all I get to do is read my friends page and occasionally update, but eventually I'm going to go through all the icon journals and find the ones I don't have credited. I promise I didn't intentionally steal, as a matter of fact I think anyone who can do icons is a genius, because I have tried oh so many times and failed.

BTW All redheads are suspicious it's in our nature :P

You have no credit for your icons plus in your profile it said you put icons on Xanga and in LJ land, we don't like that.

I credit the sites I used in the posts (I just went through and made sure they all had them there) and what's wrong with xanga? They have free hosting for my icons and it's where I post everything else so I have a paid account there, and it makes sense to upload them there. I got a livejournal so I could keep up with my favorite fandoms, and I just started using it to put my icons and get feedback since I made them just for myself for a while. Mostly I want to join so that I can see other people's icons. What else do I need to credit?

There's nothing wrong with Xanga except when Xanga users take LJ user's icons and post them on their Xanga site when we ask not too. That's why a lot of LJ graphic makers don't like Xanga. And I didn't look at your posts for credit so I apologize for that. So long as you only put your icons that you actually make yourself on Xanga, I'll approve you.
