Hail and well met!

I am a 26 year old Asatru on the East coast, US.

I just stumbled on this community and do hope to make friends who are like-minded, as it is difficult for me to take part in any Kindred events here(most of them are not in my state!).

Cheers!

Great to hear! I'm actually in Connecticut but was unaware of the yahoo list. Can you post a link by chance?

Thanks!

Sorry to be so late checking here. NortheastAsatru.

Northeast is a big sprawling list, it doesn't have a calendar or a list of kindreds or anything but people post notices of pubmoots, coffeemoots, camping events, and public blots all the time, and if you don't see mention of a group in your area, post a shout-out asking who's near you. There's stuff going on in New Haven--where walkyrja (Patty) is--and at the other end of the state, that much I know.

Also, if you haven't done so already, check the Irminsul AEttir list of Asatru contacts (google Irminsul). It's rarely updated but it's the most comprehensive list of groups.

Frith,
Marion
still on Northeast though considering reluctabtly leaving it--I moved away 4+ years ago

Welcome, and I understand, I have met very few heathens in my state, most of the ones I feel any kinship to and have met in person (before meeting them on lj lo) live several states away. However I have my family, and while most of them aren't very interested in heathen matters a few are. Never the less though, still very important connections.

Hope you enjoy your stay here and enjoy the frith and wealth of learning and diversity in the heathen world.
