The more I hear about what RDM said (esp. watching that frakking "special") the more sad I am. What a juvenile way to make decisions (of any kind)--'cause you think it's cool. WTF. A budget of millions, people who have to follow his lead, and that's how he makes decisions. As Workerbee says so well--7th grade thinking. Sigh.
If you've read his podcasts all long - that's kind of how he makes ALL his decisions and always has. And some if not most of those have worked out fantastically over the years. I don't think it's a sign of his being juvenille as much as his working method being "what is the most amazing thing I can do" followed by "how do I make this make sense and fit in" whereas the work method a lot of people are used to is the reverse

Just days ago I was defending to Rawles, saying it's not the way I would do it, but it's his story so if he gets off on scripting as he goes, that's his choice as an author. Then he decided to give us an ending that had no authorial choices in it. Every single thing was tied up with a "well we decided to leave that up to interpretation, isn't it better that way?" Um no. No it's not. grr.
She did seek him out in season four, after she found her body on Cylon Earth. That's really about it though - it's not much of a leg to stand on
