I think anyone with a father like Father Bryan would be lucky to escape unscathed, so it's unsurprising Rachel is the way she is. But Ruth's planned one escape - I'll sure she'll manage better next time.

There was an especially nasty "exorcism" gone wrong recently, which was all over the press here. That was the original concept, but it ended up here instead. I have no doubt that someone as resourceful as Ruth will find her way out eventually.

It would be interesting to see what would happen should Ruth and Rachel ever meet up again. Hmmm... Perhaps a later prompt will allow me to explore that.
